MODERNIZING VETERAN HEALTH CARE WITH THE QUALITY, URGENCY AND CONVENIENCE THEY DESERVE

ERPi has, through support to their system-wide Modernization, plotted higher quality care and created a better experience for Veterans through changes to organizational structure, governance and decision making, leadership accountability, operations and clinical integration, strategic sourcing, improved training, and more effective data and tools. 
 
 

ASSISTING VHA IN OPERATING AS A HIGH RELIABILITY ORGANIZATION

ERPi is supporting VHA’s continued organization-wide focus on patient safety and commitment to zero harm principles by becoming a High Reliability Organization (HRO). This culture change includes renewed leadership engagement and empowering employees to speak up when they see safety issues.

 
 

INCREASING ACCESS TO CARE.

ERPi supports the Office of Veteran Access to Care’s (OVAC) mission to grow and sustain VHA as the most accessible health care system in the country. ERPi facilitated the MyVA Access initiative to improve access to medical care at every VA medical center. For overall average wait times, VA saw an improvement of 1.3 days in average wait time from FY14 to FY16 while completing 3.19 million more appointments. We also support the Community Care Program to increase access for Veterans in rural areas to care beyond VA’s medical centers.
 
 

IMPROVING DECISION MAKING AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT.

ERPi reviews and updates the full library of health services policies in accordance with GAO High Risk findings. In July 2016, the national policy inventory included 805 policies, 59 percent of which were expired. We created and implemented a new VHA policy development process that reduced the average time from conception to publication—from three years to 120 days.
 
 

ENHANCING MENTAL HEALTH AND SUICIDE PREVENTION RESOURCES. 

Through our team’s management of two high-visibility Executive Orders – EO 13822 and EO 13861 and other Suicide Prevention Program efforts, we work to further the VA’s efforts to collaborate with other agencies, as well as public and private partners and communities to impact Veterans where they live, work, and thrive to improve mental health and save Veteran lives. ERPi has helped improved monitoring of all transitioning service members; improved transition from military to civilian life; and enhanced outreach.
 

Veterans Benefits Administration

The Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) provides financial and other forms of assistance to veterans, their dependents, and survivors.  Major benefits include Veterans’ compensation, Veterans’ pension, survivors’ benefits, rehabilitation and employment assistance, education assistance, home loan guaranties, and life insurance coverage.

PROTECTING AMERICA’S VETERANS FROM FRAUD.

ERPi pioneered VBA’s use of analytics to combat fraud and protect our Nation’s Veterans. Our technologies resulted in the identification of over $300M in fraud activity, a 400% increase (within one year) in the number of fraud cases resolved, reduced fraud case resolution cycle time from 6 months to 2 weeks, enhanced data quality for millions of Veterans records, ensuring uninterrupted flow of benefits.
 
 

USING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE TO BUILD TRUST.

ERPi worked with Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) and VBA to make benefits services more responsive to customer needs, achieving the following results – Prevented our Nation’s oldest living veteran from being defrauded, stopping the fraud in real time; for the first time, VBA was able to extend additional benefits in real time to a Veteran while he was in convalescent care.
 
 

ENSURING CITIZENS EASIER, FASTER, MORE ACCURATE ACCESS TO THEIR BENEFITS.

ERPi was the first to employ Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots to process VBA disability and dependency claims, leading to reduced processing time from 100 days to 34 days, with 100% accuracy; one bot removed 116,000 man-hours of tedious, duplicate work
 

Veterans Affairs Central Office

VA Central Office provides the centralized management and administrative support functions needed across all three VA Administrations and the VA enterprise. These include the Offices of Human Resources and Administration, Information Technology, Enterprise Integration, Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, Regulation Policy and Management, as well as the Veteran Experience Office and the Board of Veteran Appeals.

CHANGING THE WAY VA DOES BUSINESS.

ERPi supports a partnership between the Veterans Experience Office, VHA’s Office of Patient Advocacy, and VA Medical Centers to capture near real-time Veteran feedback for immediate service recovery, empower employees to resolve Veteran issues at the point of service, and streamline and integrate customer feedback across VA.
 
 

MODERNIZING HEALTH RECORDS.

ERPi provides operations, communications and technical support to the Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization, to include communications and change management materials for 330,00 VHA clinicians.

 
 

SUPPORTING VETERANS IN CRISIS.

ERPi developed algorithms to help reduce Veteran suicide and homeless rates, enabling VA to intervene and mitigate in over 400 suicide and 200 homelessness cases.
 
 

GIVING VA EMPLOYEES THE TECHNOLOGY AND TOOLS TO SERVE VETERANS.

ERPi supports the deployment of Customer Relationship Management technology. From the White House Hotline, to the Enterprise Contact Center Modernization program, these tools are helping VA to meet the varied needs of Veterans.
 
 

SUPPORTING VA EMPLOYEES IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY.

ERPi provides technical expertise and change management support to VA’s Talent Management System (TMS) Modernization, connecting 570,000 users to over 100,000 courses to help them better serve Veterans and their families.

The Department of Health and Human Services enhances and protects the health and well-being of all Americans by providing for effective health and human services and fostering advances in medicine, public health, and social services. The National Institutes of Health is the premier agency responsible for biomedical and public health research within the United States and around the world through its extramural and intramural research programs.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM MANAGEMENT.

ERPi provides scientific program and project management support to complex, high-profile scientific initiatives at NIH Institutes. We provide certified project managers and methods, keep cross-cutting initiatives on time, on budget, and on target to achieve their outcomes.
 
 

DATA SCIENCE.

ERPi helps NIH institutes understand and determine the right mix of research to prioritize and fund across its portfolio of intramural and extramural research by using cutting edge software tools, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and analytical methods.
 
 

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.

ERPi IT professionals serve as trusted advisors to the Chief Information Officer assisting with planning, prioritizing and executing the technology strategy and roadmap for IT products in support of the institute’s mission, providing input and guidance and recommendations across all functional areas, and serving in the Solution Delivery Manager (SDM) role.
 
 

ADMINISTRATIVE SHARED SERVICES.

ERPi provides business operations process improvement, change management, and administrative staff to implement shared services to streamline and remove administrative burdens, allowing NIH resources to focus more time and energy on the scientific mission.
 

The Defense Health Agency

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force as well as a prepared medical force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high-quality health services to Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS.



Defense

Working closely with those who protect us, ERPi provides support to the armed services. We deliver technical, management, and administrative support services to improve force readiness.


By facilitating the alignment of operational forces against known assignments, apportionments, and allocation requirements, we support near and long-term deployment decisions.

Army: The United States Army’s mission is to deploy, fight, and win our nation’s wars by providing ready, prompt, and sustained land dominance across the full spectrum of conflict as part of the joint force. This mission is vital to the nation because the U.S. Army is the service capable of defeating enemy ground forces and indefinitely seizing and controlling those things an adversary prizes most—its land, its resources, and its population.

Navy: The mission of the United States Navy is to recruit, train, equip, and organize to deliver combat-ready Naval forces to win conflicts and wars while maintaining security, freedom of the seas and deterrence through sustained forward presence.



Financial Services
